The catalogue is destined to enter the age of e-commerce. We’re convinced that e-catalogues will occupy a place much larger than a simple “substitute for paper” on the Web and will become a full-fledged part of your e-commerce strategy.

To satisfy consumers’ intensive use of catalogues, PageOnDemand.com offers the first “cross-catalogue” search engine. All online catalogues have been included for consultation within a standardized interface. The installed search engine is dynamic and loaded with images.

We introduced functions aimed specifically at showcasing your advertising promotions:
Web surfers are able to browse among the various e-catalogues and then run a search by entering either a keyword or cross-referencing categories. When clicking on the product image, the Web user is led directly to the referenced page(s). The full panoply of navigation tools (close-up, annotations, links to product fact sheets, online order forms) is available to take the user to the final sale screen without having to exit the search and return to an e-catalogue.
From the standpoint of e-retailers, it will finally be possible to dynamically update e-catalogue prices.
